Israel, over the years, has been an increasing competitor within the wine industry. With more and more wineries opening up in Israel every year and many of them winning awards for their wine, drinking Israeli wine has become increasingly popular in recent years. Here are some of the delicious Israeli wines that you should try.

Barkan Winery

Barkn Winery is the largest winery in Israel and has the most considerable amount of exports to America. This winery was established in 1899 by a man whose simple goal was to make wine for Friday night dinner to share with his family. His predecessor, who took over the winery, grew the business and allowed it to flourish.

Due to its growing demand, the winery moved to a different location, which was extremely costly, resulting in the winery being sold. After that, the winery grew and started exporting to America and the United Kingdom.

Golan Heights Winery

It is the third-largest winery in Israel and the second-leading winery in export sales. Within the region, vines have been growing for thousands and thousands of centuries. Still, it wasn’t until 1972 that a professor visited the area. He was excited about the cold climate and the altitude. He decided this was a great place to grow wine and open a winery.

It wasn’t until 1983 when the winery was officially open, as previously they sent the grapes to a different site. Ever since then, they have grown to be the third-largest winery and the second-largest exporter to America.

Many diets and lifestyles exist, but these days lots of people still eat meat, an excellent protein and mineral source. Meat is often eaten by athletes and bodybuilders, as well as clean meat for people trying to slim down; however, there has been a debate on how much meat is too much. Here is everything you need to know about your daily meat intake.

According to the studies, if you eat more than 90g of cooked meat or processed meat a day, you could be at risk for heart disease. The NHS argues that the maximum meat intake should be 70g of cooked meat (this is because meat tends to shrink when cooked).

Some meat is high in saturated fat and raises cholesterol levels; recently, studies have shown a direct link between excess meat intake and bowel cancer. While meat is an excellent source of protein, if you overeat, it could do more harm than good in the long run.

A healthy and balanced diet will include protein from sources such as fish and eggs and non-animal products such as beans and legumes. Another way to control how much red meat you eat is by asking your butcher to give you a lean cut with no fat. These small changes can ensure your protein intake while reducing your chances of getting high blood pressure and bow cancer.

Pancake day is a traditional holiday celebrated on the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday, when people eat pancakes right before they eliminate all rich food for Lent. Here are some reasons you should join in too this year.

Pancakes are versatile and delicious that can be enjoyed in multiple different ways. The basic recipe requires flour, eggs, milk, a pinch of sugar, and salt. Of course, you can add cream or vanilla extract to the batter.

Pancakes can be enjoyed with sweet or savory toppings, depending on how you like your pancake. The most obvious are Nutella and strawberries or lemon and sugar. In contrast, others prefer a more savory pancake, which usually tends to be bacon and cheese or a BLT but in a pancake form.

Pancake pans, or crepe pans, are a particular type of cookware specially designed to make pancakes and crepes. They are noticeable due to their flat, circular shape and low sides, making them ideal for flipping the pancake. However, they are unnecessary, and you can easily create a perfect pancake using any pan you have in the house.

Mediterranean cuisine spans multiple cultures and is varied in nature, mainly focusing on oil, veggies, fish, and legumes. While different regions of the Mediterranean have lots of differences, each culture executes similar dishes differently. The core of cuisine has the same fundamentals, so here are our top three Mediterranean dishes that you should try.

Cauliflower With Tahini

Simply roast a head of cauliflower with butter until the cauliflower is soft, soft enough to break with a spoon. Once cooked, drizzle tahini all over. It is also common to add cilantro or mint for garnish.

Shakshuka

Shakshuka is a dish of poached eggs in a spicy tomato sauce, often served with pita or bread on the side. This Mediterranean dish is commonly eaten in Morocco, Tunisia, and Israel. Still, it has grown in popularity worldwide as an exotic breakfast option. All you need is onion, garlic, pepper, canned tomatoes, and eggs as your base. This dish is quick and easy to make, and you can add any additional toppings or veggies as you wish.

Hummus

While the western world often considers Hummus an appetizer or side dish, it is common in Arab countries to have this as a main dish. In Arabic counties, as well as Israel, it is common to get Hummus with different toppings such as minced meat, chickpeas, mushrooms, and more. This thick and warm dish will fill you up more than you think.

Chamberlain coffee was created by Emma Chamberline, a podcaster who has risen to ultimate celeb status. The coffee has various blends and options to choose from. Here are our three reasons why we are obsessed with Chamberline coffee.

Marketing

The execution and branding of this company are excellent. It targets all coffee drinks with an emphasis on targeting Gen-Z. Bright and fun colors allow the packaging to be highly memorable. Moreover, Chamberlain uses characters on the packaging to quickly depict the ‘type’ coffee enclosed inside the product.

Variety

From coffee to matcha to mugs and more, there is more to coffee sold on the Chamberline website. You can also buy bags, cups, and even a french cold press, making Chamberlain coffee a place that is more than just coffee. It is also a great place to buy a gift for that friend who loves coffee or just loves Emma herself.

Sustainable

Sustanalibily is at the forefront of Chamberlin coffee—they believe it tastes better when responsibly and ethically sourced. The coffee is roasted locally in California to ensure that the best possible standards and labor practices are met. As well as using environmentally friendly materials that provide the coffee’s quality stays the same.

Getting a good night’s sleep has always been critical to healthy and stable well-being. But, it’s also important to get your metabolism going in the morning and you can do it with certain drinks. Here are our three go-to beverages in the morning.

Lemon Water

Water right as you open your eyes is an excellent way to start the day. When you wake up, your body is dehydrated. Adding a slice of lemon or two to your glass is a great way to ingest a healthy amount of vitamin C and it helps detox your body.

Apple Cider Vinegar

A lot of research has provided evidence that apple cider vinegar can lower your blood sugar levels and promote weight loss. Some people are brave enough and will take a shot of apple cider vinegar as is due to its ph levels, while some take a different approach and combine the cider in water to dilute the vinegar ever so slightly. Beware—it does have a horrible taste.

Green Tea

Sipping on green tea early in the morning can help boost your metabolism and give you a healthy dose of antioxidants that will help boost your immune system. Additionally, green tea helps reduce stress and anxiety and could be the perfect drink in the morning to help you prepare for the day ahead.
