Serve with hummus or tahini.

For the sauce, whisk together 1 tbsp of fish sauce, 1 tbsp of soy sauce, a lime’s worth of juice and 2 tbsp of brown sugar. Add cayenne pepper according to how spicy you want your dish to be.
In a nonstick frying pan, gry up the veg and fish you have chosen for your dish. Our top choice is red bell pepper, onions, garlic, and shrimp. Season with salt and pepper to taste and make sure the shrimp is cooked until pink.
Push the shrimp and veg to one side of your pan. Next, pour in an egg and scramble until it is about to set. Mix this in with the shrimp mixture and then add your cooked noodles. Toss until combined and then add in your sauce until the noodles are fully coated.
Garnish your dish with spring onions, parsley and roasted peanuts. Keep some chili sauce nearby for those who need it.

]]>If you’ve gone for breakfast at a trendy cafe recently, you might have been surprised to see what looks like tiny chunks of yellow fish food sprinkled over your ‘health boosting’ oatmeal. If this is the case, then what you have been eating was probably bee pollen, the new health trend that’s taking the West by storm. So what are these ‘amazing’ benefits that it boasts?
The liver is responsible for filtering out the toxins in your body. Researchers found that bee pollen helps maintain a healthy liver and can even help heal liver damage.
Bee pollen contains enzymes that can help digestion and assist the body in getting the nutrients it needs from your food.
The amino acids and vitamins in bee pollen protect the skin and speed up regeneration of cells.
Feeling sluggish? Don’t we all. The good news is that the nutrients in bee pollen can give you a natural energy boost. This is due to the carbohydrates, protein and B vitamins that it contains.
Bee pollen can even help reduce stress because it increases blood flow to the body’s nervous system.

]]>Cut your avocado in half then toss the pit and scoop out the flesh. Dice the flesh and mix it with some olive oil, vinegar, and fresh herbs of your choice. If you’re feeling decadent, you can even add a bit of mozzarella or spice. When you’ve mixed it up, spoon it back into the skin for a tasty snack.
Blend two or three avcocados with some garlic and coconut milk. Add some salt, pepper, cilantro, and coconut oil then chill in the fridge. Serve within a few hours for a summery soup.
An avocado smoothie is a great way to start your day. Put avocado, kale, banana, honey, and milk into a blender then serve up for a delicious and nutritious breakfast.
Quarter your avocado but leave on the skin. Season with a bit of salt and pepper then grill the fruit on all sides. Sprinkle some spice and add a little oil and your avocado is now too good for your toast.
You can find avocado jelly recipes quite easily online. In general, you’ll need a few avocados with 100ml of fresh milk, 3 tbsp of condensed milk, 15g jelly powder, 600 ml of cold water, and sugar to your taste. It’s certainly a strange recipe but it’s also absolutely fabulous.

]]>It’s happened to us all in one capacity or another. Rather than attempt to open the bottle with your teeth or give up altogether, it turns out there are actually better and less risky ways to pop open a bottle.
The first way is with a sturdy kitchen tool. By running the knife along the bottle seam to the neck, the pressure combined with the impact causes the bottle’s neck to break from its body. The whole top of the bottle should then come flying off.
If you do not have a kitchen tool then do not fear. It also looks as if you can open a bottle of wine with an actual shoe, and we’re pretty sure you’ll have one of those handy. Instead of trying to explain it to you, it’s probably best to just watch the video below.
Have you tried either of these techniques? Let us know in the comments below!
