The Perfect Golden Milk Recipe

Ingredients:

  • plant milk (coconut milk, almond or even soy milk would be just fine)
  • gingerroot
  • A tablespoon of coconut oil (or ghee)
  • A pinch of black pepper
  • A tablespoon of maple syrup or honey (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Put plant milk, cinnamon stick, and spices into a large pot and let it simmer for 5-10 minutes making a potent concentrate.
  2. Cook it and stir it, but don’t boil the milk completely.
  3. Add some sugar if you prefer it to be sweeter, but it’s not necessary.
  4. Strain the plant milk into a cup to remove all the particles and floating grains.
  5. Top with a bit more cinnamon or even whipped cream!
