What to Do with Leftover Halloween Candy

Halloween is behind us, and we all know what that means. The holidays are approaching, and with them comes plenty of opportunities to eat and entertain. If you’re like us, though, you’ve probably found yourself with lots of extra candy at the moment, and aren’t quite sure what to do with it all. While there’s certainly nothing wrong with eating candy as is, there are also plenty of ways to repurpose your leftovers and create something more exciting. Here are some of our favorite ways to upcycle Halloween candy:

Bake Cookies

These Monster Cookies by The Baker Mama are jam-packed with M&M’s and Reese’s Cups. They’re delicious and so much more fun than eating the candy by itself. Whip them up to serve with Thanksgiving dessert, or any time you’re feeling something sweet.

Give it Away

If candy’s not your thing and Halloween has left you with way too much, consider bringing it somewhere for others to enjoy. If you work in an office, bring in your candy and place it in a bowl in a common area. There are also programs you can donate to that will send care packages to soldiers overseas. A quick search online should tell you what’s available in your area.
