By now we’re sure you’ve heard of “nature’s cereal”, the healthy cereal alternative taking over TikTok. With celebrities including Lizzo raving about it, the cereal which contains berries, pomegranate seeds, coconut water, and ice cubes has blown up over the past few months. Like many food trends, nature’s cereal has been recreated countless times and it’s even gotten a dessert upgrade called nature’s cereal ice cream. Here’s what nature’s cereal ice cream is all about.

Cassey Ho of Blogilates recently came up with this dessert version and like nature’s cereal, nature’s cereal ice cream doesn’t have a lot of ingredients. The only difference is instead of coconut water and ice cubes, you’ll use milk to get a creamy texture. For this recipe, all you need is frozen fruit like berries, pomegranate seeds, or strawberries and your favorite kind of milk. For a sweeter taste, just add monk fruit sweetener.

And guess what—you don’t even need a blender! All you have to do is mix the ingredients in a bowl and stir for a few minutes. Before you know it, you’ll have a frozen mixture that looks just like a smoothie or açaí bowl.
