If you’re trying to eat healthier but also have a sweet tooth, this salmon recipe is perfect for you. Shining brightly with a maple kick, you might just find yourself making this at every family dinner henceforth. The best part? It’s incredibly easy to make, quashing the myth that making salmon is a complex and arduous process. So let’s get started.

Ingredients

  • 8 boneless salmon fillets
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves minced garlic

Getting Started

Start things off by preheating your oven to 350 F. Prepare a large pan, cover it with a cooking sheet, and place it to the side. Rinse the salmon cutlets, cut the skin off the bottom, and place them each on the pan with a solid amount of separation between them.

The Sauce

Now it’s time to make the sauce that’ll go on the salmon, giving it that extra kick that we love so much. In a large bowl, mix the maple syrup with the soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, and dijon mustard. Once you’ve gotten a smooth consistency, pour the mixture over the salmon cutlets, and brush them so that there’s an equal distribution of sauce onto all the pieces.

Cooking It

Place the salmon uncovered in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes. Remove from the oven, place onto a serving platter, and enjoy!
