Forget about all the bells and whistles. Forget about the whipped cream, and forget about the foam. Sometimes all you want is a simple ice coffee, one that’ll cool you down and give you a boost of energy as well. This is a recipe for an ice coffee that you can make in mere minutes, and it’ll be just as tasty as you want it to be. So let’s get started!

Choose Your Coffee

This recipe works for both instant coffee and regular brewed coffee. Regardless of which you choose, make sure it’s prepared and pour it one third of the way into your mug. Make sure it’s nice and hot.

Adding the Sugar

If you take sugar in your coffee, now would be the time to add it while the coffee’s still hot. Once it’s colder, the sugar won’t dissolve properly.

Ice and Milk

Add a few cubes of ice into your mug, the amount depending on how big your mug is. The rule of thumb is to make sure there will be enough room to add milk later. This brings us to the milk. Whether you like regular, non-fat, almond, soy, or oat milk, just pour it right to the top and you’ll be good to go. Don’t forget to give your ice coffee a good mix!
