Quick recipes can save the day when your stomach reaches the summit of appetite and body is just not ready to cook a big meal. Today, we have a look at one of the most popular recipes of quick fish cakes.
Ingredients:
- Skinless cod or Pollock fillets- 500g
- Plain flour- 4 tbsp
- Maris piper- 250g
- Mayonnaise – 200ml
- Olive oil
- Mixed fresh herbs like chifree-rangel-2 tbsp
Method:

- Chop the fish
- Peel and grate the potato
- Combine fish and potato with flour and then season with sea salt and black pepper in a bowl
- Make 12 flat patties from the mixture and then place in fridge to cooling
- Heat oil in a pan and start cooking the fish cakes in batches of 4. Cook for couple of minutes until crisp and golden cakes are obtained.
- Remove and drain with paper.
- Add chopped herbs with mayo and garnish properly.
- Serve the cakes
