How to Make the Perfect Pasta Salad in Just 10 Minutes

We get it, it’s not easy to eat a salad every day, no matter how much you’re trying to eat healthier. One good way to shake things up is to make a pasta salad, which can add a bit more “adventure” to your lunch break instead of having the same old thing. Thankfully, making a pasta salad is quite easy—and here’s how you can prepare it in only ten minutes!

Although the ingredients below seem pretty specific, take note that you can put in almost anything you have in your pantry, and still get a delicious and nutritious meal. If you feel like adding different vegetables, cheese, smoked fish, or whatever tickles your fancy, that all works fine. That being said, here’s a basic overview of the recipe.



  • Cooked pasta
  • Fresh basil
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Feta cheese
  • Roasted eggplant
  • Roasted zucchini


  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Mix all the salad ingredients in a large mixing bowl. In a separate bowl, mix the dressing ingredients thoroughly until you achieve your desired consistency. Pour the sauce over the salad, and serve. The salad can be kept in a closed box in the refrigerator for up to two days.
