So, let’s begin cooking classic jacket potatoes.

Ingredients:

Olive oil- 2 tbsp

Baking potatoes of large size-4 pieces

Soured cream 150-200 ml

Grated cheddar- 50g

Chopped and crisp bacon rasher- 4 pieces

Sliced spring onion 4 pieces

Method:

Prepare the oven by heating it up to 220/220c. Garnish each potato with oil and then place it on oven grill. Bake for 20 minutes at given temperature and then reduce the temperature to 190C/170C. Bake for 45 minutes at this temperature. By now, the skin of the potatoes will become crisp and melting.

After taking out the potatoes cut a cross in the middle and add in cream by pressing the sides. You can also add toppings of your choice here to stuff the potatoes.
