Homemade Seedy Crackers are Healthy and Super Easy to Make!

If you’re after easy homemade crackers, this is the recipe for you!

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup of oats
  • 3/4 cup of pumpkin seeds
  • 1/3 cup of sunflower seeds
  • 1/3 cup of sesame seeds, black or white or both
  • 3 tablespoons of chia seeds
  • 3 tablespoons of poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon+1 teaspoon of vegetable or coconut oil 
  • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup or honey

Recipe

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the oats, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, chia seeds, poppy seeds, and salt. 
  2. In a separate bowl, mix in the oil, maple syrup, and water together until well combined. 
  3. Pour the wet ingredients over the dry mixture and mix it so everything is covered. Let the mixture to sit for 10 minutes. 
  4. Then, line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Form the mixture into a ball, put it onto the baking sheet, and use another piece of parchment paper or wax paper and put it on top of the ball. Use another baking sheet or a rolling pin to make the mixture into a thin layer. 
  5. Bake at 375 F for 15-20 minutes or until it starts to get golden brown. Then, take it out flip it over with two spatulas, and bake it on the other side for another 15- 20 minutes. 
  6. Allow it to cool on the sheet and then break it up with a knife or your hands and enjoy for up to a week!
