If you love shakes, you have to give this almond butter banana shake a try. You won’t believe that something so tasty could be full of protein and fiber. This shake makes a great breakfast or post-workout snack and it’s made in two easy steps! If you want more protein, add a scoop of protein powder to the shake.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 cup ice
- 2 medium bananas, chopped and frozen
- 1/4 cup unsalted almond butter
- 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
- pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon light honey, optional
Instructions:
- Put all the ingredients in a blender, and blend until the shake is smooth.
- Pour in two glasses and serve.
