We Can’t Resist This Crispy Chicken Recipe

There are some dishes that cause peoples’ mouths to just water instantly the moment they see them. Crispy chicken is one of them—just ask the Colonel! All jokes aside, sometimes it feels as though there really is nothing better than homemade fried chicken, and now we’d like to share one of our favorite versions of it with you.

Ingredients

  • 8 large chicken cutlets
  • 1 can store-bought crunchy fried onions
  • 1/2 cup horseradish sauce
  • 2/3 cup honey mustard sauce

Getting Started

Start off by preheating the oven to a steamy 350 F. Set aside a large pan topped with parchment paper where you’ll eventually place the prepped chicken cutlets. In a large bowl, mix the honey mustard sauce with the horseradish sauce. In yet another separate small bowl, pour the crunchy fried onions.

Dressing The Chicken

Now it’s time to dress the chicken with all of the ingredients you’ve prepared. The first “station” for the chicken will be the honey mustard-horseradish sauce mixture. One chicken at a time, dress it with the sauce, and then with the crunchy fried onions. Once you’ve done this with each chicken cutlet, place it on the pan.

Cooking The Chicken

Cook the chicken uncovered for about an hour and 30 minutes. Make sure the chicken isn’t pink in the middle, and nice and crispy on the outside. Transfer to a platter, and serve hot!
