Watermelon Bruschettas Are the Ultimate Summer Treat

Watermelon is the unofficial fruit of the summer, but we all tend to run out of creative ways to eat it after a while. If you’re looking for some new ideas, watermelon bruschettas are here to rock your world.

Zuliya Khawaja aka NaturallyZuzu shared her favorite watermelon bruschettas recipe on Instagram, and the list of ingredients includes cucumbers, radishes, and jalapeño. If you’re not a huge fan of mixing fruits and veggies together, you can switch things up and keep all the ingredients sweet.

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium watermelon
  • 5 Persian cucumbers
  • 2 radishes
  • 1/2 of medium size jalapeño
  • 2 tbsp of Yuzu vinegar
  • mint, chopped
  • salt

Instructions:

  1. Slice watermelon into 1/2 inch circles, and use a cookie cutter to get star-shaped pieces. Using a cookie cutter of other shapes, or simply cutting the watermelon in squares is also an option.
  2. Cut cucumbers and radishes into tiny cubes. Chop the jalapeño and removed the seeds.
  3. Combine cucumbers, radishes, and jalapeño and season them with salt and vinegar.
  4. Top the watermelon slices with the cucumber mixture and serve the bruschettas chilled.
