Ingredients:
- 1 thumb-sized piece of fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 4 cups of freshly boiled water
Instructions:
- Add the ginger, cinnamon sticks, turmeric, and cayenne to a medium-sized pot.
- Cover with freshly boiled water.
- Bring back to a boil and then simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and then add the lemon juice and honey to taste.
- Remove the whole spices and ladle them into mugs.
- Breathe in the healing steam and enjoy every revitalizing sip!
