Cherokee Purple
This tomato is, you guessed it, purple! They are about the size of a conventional tomato, but are known for their richness and purple color. They stand out in any salad due to their unique appearance.
Black Cherry
These miniature tomatoes are an offshoot of the conventional cherry tomato. The difference is that these tiny treats are very dark, nearly black, in color, and pack more flavor than the sometimes bland cherry tomatoes that we typically consume.
Green Zebra
Tomatoes are usually green when they are unripe, but did you know that there’s a tomato variety that stays green upon maturation? The green zebra tomato has a citrusy flavor and is perfect for recipes like fried green tomatoes, a Southern staple.
