The Recipe Rebel is the Queen of Easy, No-Fuss Family Recipes

Preparing food for your entire family is no easy task, no matter how much you enjoy cooking and baking. Ashley Fehr learned this first-hand after becoming a mom of three, and she shifted her focus to quick, easy, and low-maintenance recipes that she’s now sharing on her food blog The Recipe Rebel.

Fehr is based in Manitoba, Canada, and her academic background actually has nothing to do with cooking. She was a high school English teacher when she first started her blog in 2014, but she’s been on quite a journey over the course of the past decade. She attracted over 300,000 Instagram followers in the meantime and blogging is now her full-time job.

Fehr started her blog because she wanted to share easy, healthy, fun, and creative recipes for the whole family because she understands how tough it is to deal with overcomplicated recipes as a busy mom.

“With three young kids, most of the recipes I make are no fuss and minimal dishes, because I’m pretty sure there are others like me who look at an ingredient list 18 lines long and immediately close the page. I just don’t have time for that!” she explains on her blog.

In addition to being delicious and healthy, many of Fehr’s recipes are designed with an air fryer, slow cooker, or instant pot in mind, to make the preparation process quick and easy for busy home cooks who own these kitchen appliances.
