]]>It’s back and, well, not better than ever, but it’s as good as we remember, and we’re very excited. The OG fall beverage, the PSL turns 20 years old this year, and we plan to celebrate by sipping on these bad boys all season long. Espresso, pumpkin syrup, and a sprinkle of cinnamon—what’s not to love?
Try saying that one five times fast. The name may be difficult to pronounce, but Starbucks’ newest apple-flavored beverage is anything but difficult to enjoy. An update on the Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato, the new version is made with less milk than its predecessor, making it a great choice for those who prefer autumnal coffee drinks that actually taste like coffee.
If coffee isn’t your jam, you’ll be psyched to discover that Starbucks has finally included a tea-based beverage in its official fall lineup. The brand’s signature chai concentrate pairs perfectly with pumpkin cold foam cream and a dusting of pumpkin pie spice for an indulgent beverage brimming with fall flavors.

]]>While fall is still some time away, Starbucks decided to bring the season’s flavors a bit early by bringing back Pumpkin Spice Latte in late August. Sheeran ended up being the perfect candidate to announce the news to the world, considering he has an album titled “Autumn Variations” coming out on September 29th.
In a video posted on his Instagram, Sheeran shared some snippets from his busy day, and judging by the clip, he seemed to have done a pretty good job.
“Launching the Pumpkin Spice Latte to celebrate the announcement of Autumn Variations here in Seattle,” Sheeran wrote in the caption of the video. “Thanks for having me @starbucks, if you gave me your name, I gave you a new one, for I am the barista of joy. Autumn is coming, September 29th.”
This isn’t the first time that Sheeran has given a helping hand to food and drinks businesses. During his ongoing tour across the United States, the “Shape of You” singer also served hot dogs at Chicago’s The Wieners Circle and made Philly cheesesteaks at Philip’s Steaks in Philadelphia.

]]>Since its inception, the coffee chain has inspired customers to get creative with their drinks by adding a pump of this here and a splash of that there. After all, there are entire websites filled with secret menu items.
Caramel, hazelnut, and cinnamon dolce may be the most popular choices when it comes to syrups, but there is a special place for raspberry.
Those who fancy fruity flavor could add raspberry syrup to their lattes and Frappuccinos, but it worked particularly well in both hot and iced tea drinks. Customers could concoct a Raspberry Lime Refresher or go more classic by combining the raspberry syrup with anything chocolatey.
Unfortunately, the tangy taste is being discontinued at the end of this month, just as we head into spring.
“As we continue evaluating product performance, Raspberry syrup will be discontinued by the end of March to make room for innovations, like developing new syrup flavors,” read a Starbucks memo that was shared on TikTok.
We suggest you go order a White Chocolate Mocha with two pumps of raspberry syrup before it’s too late.

]]>The coffee chain has partnered up with the astrology app, Sanctuary, to create drinks based on the astrological signs.
“When developing the star sign and drink pairings, we looked at the core personality traits of each sign to identify a beverage that acts as an expression of your planetary ruler,” said astrologer Lauren Ash. “These readings are designed to empower anyone, regardless of star sign, to lean into that energy with the fresh start of spring.”
Those who are curious can head to starbucksstarsigns.com and select their star sign. They will then be asked to choose whether they prefer to take their coffee break in the morning or afternoon.
The site will then generate three words for you to take into the season, as well as allocate a color, flower, and, of course, a drink.
The drinks on offer include the Iced Matcha, Passion Tango Tea Lemonade, Strawberry Crème Frappuccino, and Vanilla Sweet Cream Nitro Cold Brew, amongst others.
“Spring is a moment for new beginnings. There’s no better time than the spring equinox to let the stars decide how to refresh your rituals this spring,” said a Starbucks rep.
We couldn’t agree more.

]]>Olive oil might sound like a strange thing to add to coffee, but as it turns out, the two actually make a pretty delicious pair. Olive oil has a rich, buttery flavor that compliments coffee’s bitterness and creates a smooth and velvety texture. Plus, it’s healthier than traditional cream.
The idea for the Oleato came to Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz during a visit to an olive oil producer in Sicily. He then worked alongside one of the company’s drink developers to create three original Oleato beverages—a Blonde Espresso Caffè Latte made with oat milk, a hazelnut flavored Iced Shaken Espresso, and a Golden Foam Cold Brew with vanilla syrup.
All of the drinks arrived at the brand’s Milan Roastery in February and will be rolled out at select stores around the world over the coming months. If you’re curious to try the Oleato for yourself, check the Starbucks’ website to find a participating location near you. It might just become your new go-to drink.

]]>The coffee chain is now bringing us another range of unusual drinks, this time inspired by a kitchen staple. Named the Oleato series, the secret ingredient is (believe it or not) cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil.
Starbucks has partnered with a Sicilian olive oil company called Partanna that creates a curated blend of olives from Nocellara del Belice to pair with Starbucks’ Arabica coffee.
“Infusing Starbucks coffee with olive oil yielded a velvety smooth, rich texture, with the buttery, round flavors imparted by the olive oil perfectly pairing with the soft, chocolatey notes of the coffee,” said Starbucks’ principal beverage developer, Amy Dilger. “One thing that’s special about Partanna’s olives is their uniquely nutty, slightly sweet flavors – think of that rich smoothness of a buttery caramel, it’s a natural complement to our coffee.”
If you’re already excited, you’re not the only one. The new menu items include the Oleato Caffé Latte which combines Starbucks Blonde Espresso Roast with oat milk infused with olive oil; the Oleato Golden Foam Cold Brew featuring olive oil-infused foam; the Oleato Iced Cortado which includes orange bitters; the passionfruit cold foam Oleato Deconstructed; and the Oleato Golden Foam Espresso Martini which boasts vodka and vanilla bean syrup.
The Oleato range will debut in Milan on February 2023 before spreading to Starbucks stores around the world.

White chocolate and pistachios are an irresistible combination and Starbucks has realized as much. Add some Pistachio Cream Cold Foam to your Iced White Chocolate Mocha and enjoy!
In the mood for some warm fuzzies? Order a Matcha Latte with creamy oat milk and add in a dash of Peppermint Syrup. It’s coziness in a cup.

]]>Our only complaint is that these beverages aren’t exactly budget-friendly at the rate we like to consume caffeine. Fortunately, we’ve found a few recipes for DIY Starbucks dupes that are just as good as the real thing.
We’re of the belief that gingerbread deserves a place in our kitchens (and stomachs) beyond the holiday season. What could be better on a cold, snowy winter day than coffee spiced with cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg? Sweeten yours with a little molasses for added gingerbread flavor.
We like to think of cold foam as a kind of grown up version of whipped cream. Starbucks makes it with nonfat milk and vanilla syrup, though this recipe is a bit more indulgent with a mix of heavy cream and nonfat sweetened condensed milk.
Why wait for fall when you enjoy the goodness that is the Pumpkin Spice Latte all year long? All you need is a little canned pumpkin puree and a few spices to make your own PSL at home.

]]>Apple pie in a cup? Count us in. To get this drink, ask your server to combine half a cup of milk with half a cup of apple juice. Then, get two pumps of cinnamon syrup and caramel syrup each, throw in some ice, and blend.
This is one of the more popular secret menu drinks at Starbucks, and it doesn’t surprise us, considering how great it looks. The drink consists of a Vanilla Bean Crème Frappuccino combined with blueberries and white mocha syrup.
Speaking of looks, nothing beats a cotton candy Frappuccino. Simply order a Vanilla Bean Crème Frappuccino and ask for two pumps of raspberry syrup. That’s it.
If you are not in the mood for coffee, then perhaps this tasty tea will do the trick. Order 1/2 cup passion tea and 1/2 cup Valencia orange refresher, but with no water. Then add two pumps of peach syrup.
If you really want to get something refreshing, ask for a Venti Strawberry Açaí Lemonade refresher with light Strawberry Puree, and two pumps of vanilla. Blend the drink and enjoy.
