Starbucks Dupe Recipes to Save You Money

If there’s one thing that self-proclaimed coffee snobs love to hate, it’s Starbucks. The most common criticism of the Seattle-based mega chain is that its drinks are much more dessert than coffee, but in our opinion, that’s kind of the point. We can get a plain black cup of joe almost anywhere, but where else can we get an Iced Brown Sugar Oat Milk Shaken Espresso?

Our only complaint is that these beverages aren’t exactly budget-friendly at the rate we like to consume caffeine. Fortunately, we’ve found a few recipes for DIY Starbucks dupes that are just as good as the real thing.

Vegan Gingerbread Latte

We’re of the belief that gingerbread deserves a place in our kitchens (and stomachs) beyond the holiday season. What could be better on a cold, snowy winter day than coffee spiced with cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg? Sweeten yours with a little molasses for added gingerbread flavor.

Sweet Cream Cold Foam

We like to think of cold foam as a kind of grown up version of whipped cream. Starbucks makes it with nonfat milk and vanilla syrup, though this recipe is a bit more indulgent with a mix of heavy cream and nonfat sweetened condensed milk.

Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte

Why wait for fall when you enjoy the goodness that is the Pumpkin Spice Latte all year long? All you need is a little canned pumpkin puree and a few spices to make your own PSL at home.
