We’re so happy to finally be able to say that fall is officially here, and if you’re anything like us, you’ll be spending the next few months curled up under a blanket with a good book and a hot drink. While we love the classics like hot chocolate and cider, one of our favorite parts of fall is getting to experiment and try new recipes for seasonal drinks. Here are a few we’ve been loving so far.

Easy Warm Apple Chai Latte

Hot apple cider has never tasted better than it does in this recipe by Orchids + Sweet Tea. Prepared with plenty of warming spices, some vanilla almond milk, and a few bags of black tea, the best way to describe it is like a cozy sweater in a glass. For best results, skip the store-bought stuff and follow her simple instructions to make your cider from scratch using fresh gala apples.

Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate

We wouldn’t dream of making a fall-inspired list that didn’t include anything pumpkin flavored, and this year, our favorite recipe is by far this hot chocolate by Striped Spatula. It’s easy to whip up in less than 10 minutes and can be made using your choice of dark or white chocolate. For a grown-up treat, add a splash of bourbon or even dark rum.

Magical Vegan Butterbeer

Harry Potter is a classic series that we enjoy regardless of the season, but come fall, it’s even more fun to imagine ourselves at The Three Broomsticks enjoying a mug of hot Butterbeer with Harry and the gang. While we know that we can’t exactly jump on the Hogwarts Express and head to Hogsmeade, we can make our own Butterbeer to enjoy at home, and this recipe by Healthy Slow Cooking is a great way to do it. It’s got all of the magical flavor we love, 100% dairy-free.

Apple cider is one of the defining fall beverages, associated with all of our favorite holidays this season. This drink comes in many different shapes and forms and here are the three most popular variations that will make you see it in a whole new light.

Mulled Apple Cider

If we had to pick a single apple cider variation that’s more delicious than regular apple cider, the mulled version would make the cut. You can make this iconic drink by heating up your apple cider and adding popular seasonal spices, such as cinnamon, orange peel, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger, to the mix.

Sprinkling Apple Cider

If you like your drinks sprinkled, this beverage will definitely be your cup of tea. It’s a naturally carbonated drink, usually made from unfiltered apple cider. There are several commercial versions of this drink on the market, but they don’t taste as delicious as the naturally carbonated version.

Spiked Apple Cider

Regular apple cider is a non-alcoholic beverage, but that’s not the case with the spiked version. This beverage allows you to hit all the right notes by opting for the right choice of liquor to mix with your cider. Rum or bourbon are two of the most popular choices, especially if you’re making mulled apple cider.

Made with pressed, fresh apples, apple cider glaze can be used to take all sorts of dishes to the next level—both sweet and savory. If you’re not sure how to use it in your kitchen, here are some of the best ways to add apple cider glaze to your favorite dishes and make them truly pop.

Cakes and Cookies

Apple cider glaze can do wonders for your cakes, cookies, and cupcakes, and you can use it to frost your Bundt cakes and pound cakes to perfection.

Donuts

Your donuts can also benefit from apple cider glaze. Take a break from sugar glaze and chocolate spreads to try something a little bit different, but just as delicious!

Cinnamon Rolls

Cinnamon rolls are usually topped with glaze. The options are pretty much endless, but apple cider glaze is one of the very best because cinnamon and apples are a match made in heaven.

Baked Ham

Apple cider glaze can take all sorts of savory dishes to the next level. Baked ham is one of the first that comes to mind, and you can use cider glaze to give this savory dish some tangy sweetness.

Pork Chops

Apples and pork are a timeless combo that’s never going out of style, and glazing your pork chops with some cider glaze is the best possible way to pair them.

Nothing quite says summertime in Britain like a good cider. The refreshing, fruity taste is just perfect on a hot day, strolling the countryside, or enjoying a garden party with friends. If you feel like enjoying summer the British way this year, here are some of the best ciders you can explore.

Magners Original

Magners is an Irish cider that you find all over the British Isles. It is pressed from over 17 varieties of apple, and provides a clean and fruity taste. It is also great for relaxing in the sun.

Henry Westons Vintage Cider

This is a stronger cider with a more robust and full-bodied taste. It has a distinctively smoky flavor, and is our personal favorite!

Bulmers Summer Fruits

On the other end of the scale to Henry Westons we have the Bulmers Summer Fruits selection. Incredibly popular, this cider is much sweeter and tastes more like a soft drink. It has a vibrant strawberry and berry flavor.

Somersby Cider

Despite only opening in 2008, Somersby cider is now one of the most prolific international cider brands. A selection of interesting flavors are available, ranging from watermelon to mango and lime.

Apple Cider Bundt Cake

This Bundt cake is one of the desserts that definitely belong on your dinner table this fall. If its tender texture fails to knock you off your feet, its delicious butter and cinnamon sugar coating certainly will.

Apple Cider Donut Pancakes

If you like pancakes even more than cake, this recipe will rock your world. It has pretty much the same list of ingredients as the previous tasty treat, including the cinnamon sugar coating. If you want to embrace the apple craze to the fullest, you can top your pancakes with cooked apples.

Apple Cider Churros

If you’re looking for a way to put a twist on your favorite churros recipe, this sweet treat is the perfect place to start. Apple cider, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger will give your churros a specific taste, and Crawford recommends serving them with equally mouth-watering salted caramel dipping sauce.

While we all enjoy the serenity and cool temperatures of the winter season, the downside to this part of this year is that it’s also easy to get sick during this season. More time spent inside and closed spaces help to create environments in which viruses and bacteria can thrive.

Fortunately, certain hot drinks can help raise your defenses and make you less vulnerable to wintertime sicknesses. Here are three that you should consider drinking this winter.

Green Tea

Green tea is one of the healthiest beverages in the world, and its positive effects can help you in wintertime to avoid getting sick. It’s full of beneficial antioxidants and catechins which work to protect cells from invasion and kill bacteria.

https://www.instagram.com/p/B5pfW0CgCJW/

Apple Cider

Apple cider is not only delicious, but it also helps to promote gut health. Its plant polyphenols promote a healthy intestinal environment, which wards off pathogens that can cause stomach viruses and other illnesses.

Chai Tea

This Indian drink is another fantastic option if you want to stay healthy this winter. Not only does it contain black tea, which provides antioxidants, but it also has spices like cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves, which have antibacterial properties.

Fall is the time to put on your comfiest sweater, bundle up with a scarf, and cosy up with a nice seasonal drink. Two drinks come to mind when we think of fall: pumpkin lattes and apple cider. Today, we are going to discuss the later – apple cider. Spiced apple cider is our absolute favorite and it’s the pefect drink to enjoy at home or at the bar.

Apple Cider Sangria

All you’ll need to make this delicious apple cider cocktail is wine and plenty of fruit. Aside from experimenting with different types of fruit, these apple cider cocktails are even more delicious when you add cinnamon.

Apple Cider Mimosa

Mimosas are not only meant for Sunday brunch anymore. You can enjoy one with added apple cider every time you feel like it. It’s a simple sweet cocktail that you can make yourself – instead of the orange juice, add apple cider.

Apple Cider Margarita

Instead of opting for the strawberry margarita you can try out one of the best apple cider cocktails. It’s very similar to the original one, just upgraded with apple cider. If you are a fan of tequila, this is the perfect drink to sip on when the cold days come.
