Ruth Mar Tam is a professional harpist who performed all around the world, but that’s not the reason why her Instagram page is followed by over 90,000 people. She’s also a talented food cook and baker, who became a true social media sensation thanks to her delicious recipes.
Tam’s musical talent took her all around the world, but she’s currently based in Toronto, Canada. She moved here after getting married to her husband, who’s also a passionate home cook and the main inspiration for the name of her food blog Cook Til Delicious.
“The blog name was inspired by what my husband often says when I ask him how he made something (‘I just cook it…til it’s delicious…’). The phrase also sums up my home cooking philosophy: use a recipe or not — but always taste, adjust, improvise, and cook til delicious!” she explains on her blog.
Tam became more passionate about baking after moving to Canada, and this hobby helped her pass the time after her move. Being next to a warm oven seemed like a good idea in the middle of a harsh Canadian winter, and she developed a passion for baking pies, cakes, and bread.
Tam even took part in the Great Canadian Baking Show before building an impressive social media platform. In addition to sharing her recipes online, she also wrote her first cookbook Baked to Order, which features 60 of her best recipes.
