Abandoning meat products to focus your meal plans around seafood is way easier than you think. Seafood is delicious, easy to prepare and readily available.  As reports mount of the ill-treatment of animals and poor meat quality, there’s no better time to embark on a healthy pescatarian lifestyle.

More Than You Sea

As a pescatarian, you can enjoy not just seafood but a vegetarian diet full of dairy and flavor. You’ll have plenty of options when dining out and there’s a wide range of goodies at your local supermarket.

You’ll feel the benefit of a pescatarian diet and see it on your face; your body will be flooded with nutrients and brain-boosting Omega-3.

Dine Out On Sushi

Think you’ll miss meat? How about a vegetable lasagne, fish tacos or heart-warming lentil soup for dinner? These tasty dishes are easy to prepare, full of flavor, and the whole family will be asking for seconds.

The American Heart Association recommends eating fish 2-3 times per week, with fatty fish like salmon, mackerel, trout, and tuna ranking well.

Watch out for mercury-laden fish such as king mackerel, swordfish, and marlin. These are not to be completely avoided, just don’t eat them too often.
