We often tend to eat our favorite treats without thinking too much about all the hard work that went into making them, but Lana Orlova-Bauer is here to change that. She became a true Instagram sensation after deciding to use her platform to teach us everything there is to know about chocolate.
Orlova-Bauer’s love affair with chocolate started while she was working at a large hotel chain in her home country of Ukraine. She was enchanted by everything that went down in the kitchen and fell in love with cooking while working closely with many talented chefs and learning more about the restaurant industry from them.
She fell in love with making pastries during her time as the manager of a cooking school and attended countless courses with world-famous chefs and chocolatiers before deciding to start her own.
“I started Sweets by Lana because I want to share my joy and enthusiasm for chocolates, and it is my main goal to help others make the most of their love and passion for chocolate through one of my classes […] that cover most chocolate-related pastry items,” she writes on her official website.
