Japan has the best Kit Kat flavors. However, it appears that the United States is slowly but surely catching up. At least that’s what the new flavor that combines strawberry and dark chocolate promises.
Hersey’s, who makes Kit Kats for the U.S. market, recently announced the introduction of two new products to kick-off 2022. The first one is an addition to Kit Kat Duos lineup called Strawberry + Dark Chocolate. They should taste just like chocolate-covered strawberries if chocolate-covered strawberries had waffles inside, of course.
The second one is THiNS Chocolate Hazelnut, which is just your regular Kit Kats slimmed down. According to the company, the new THiNS flavor “mixes the sweetness of milk chocolate with the nuttiness of hazelnut to offer a light, crispy treat.”
Both of these new products are already available in stores across the nation and are expected to remain part of Kit Kat’s permanent lineup. They come following the introduction of several limited-time flavors that included autumn-themed Kit Kat Pumpkin Pie and fan-favorite Kit Kat Fruity Cereal.
