Cooking can be very fun, but cleaning up after it is definitely not. Some people don’t find it very difficult but others truly dread cleaning up. Here are our best tips for making this task easier.

Clean the Big Stuff

If you can clean up the big pots and other big stuff first, your kitchen will instantly look tidier. This will give you the motivation to continue and be done with it in no time.

Soak the Utensils

It’s a good idea to keep a bowl of warm water with some soap where you can soak the utensils as you’re done with them. Not only it will make them easier to clean later, but it will also keep your sink clear so you can start with washing the big dishes as soon as you’re done.

Use Timer

Cleaning up doesn’t really take a lot of time. The best way to see this is to set a timer for 10 minutes and clean as fast as you can before the time runs out. You’ll see that it’s enough to do everything or nearly everything without even thinking about it.
