Bringing your lunch to work can sometimes be a messy affair. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with bringing a meal to be heated up such as soup or pasta, but if you’re someone who stresses about making a mess or getting a stain on their shirt in the middle of the day, you may be looking for cleaner foods that are easier to eat. Here are a few ideas.

Finger Sandwiches

You can save yourself a lot of effort if you simply cut your sandwiches into bite-sized mini-sandwiches before packing them in. This way, you don’t need to worry about your sandwich ingredients falling out as you try to figure out how to eat it, and you can still enjoy whatever you like to put in. If you want to be extra clean, you can make the sandwich a tightly-rolled wrap which you can cut them into mini-rolls.

Homemade Sushi

Speaking of tightly-rolled, sushi is another great finger food to bring in a lunch box. It’s already meant to be cut into bite-sized rolls with a protective layer of seaweed, and you can also impress your co-workers with your ability to hand-make sushi (even though it’s really very easy)!

Fruit and Veggie Sticks

Fruits and veggies are an important part of your diet, and lots of them can be cut up raw into sticks that are incredibly easy to eat, plus completely mess-free.
