Emily Leary’s Spooky Crispy Cakes Are A Perfect Halloween Treat

The crispy monsters are so easy to make—you won’t need the oven—just mix all the ingredients together, decorate and your fun Halloween treat is done.

Ingredients

  • 10.6 ounces marshmallows
  • 1.6 ounces butter cubed
  • 4.2 ounces rice crispies
  • 2 tablespoons green natural food coloring
  • 12 white chocolate Lindor white chocolate truffles
  • black writing icing pen or a small piece of black sugar paste

Instructions

  1. Put marshmallows and butter in a large bowl and microwave in 15-second blasts. Stir between each burst and microwave until melted.
  2. Add the green food coloring and mix until it’s evenly distributed.
  3. Add the rice crispies and mix until smooth.
  4. Prepare cupcake cases.
  5. Pour the batter into each case.
  6. Place a chocolate ball onto each cupcake.
  7. Add a black dot to each chocolate using a black writing icing pen or black fondant.
  8. Let them rest for 15 minutes and the cakes are ready to be served.
