Check Out These Amazing Food Sculptures

You may have grown up hearing that you shouldn’t play with your food. Thankfully, the artists featured here didn’t listen to that rule when they heard it. If they had, they wouldn’t have been able to grace the world with these stunning sculptures made entirely out of food. Pretty cool, huh?

Pangcakery

This food sculpture that resembles a head is made of the same ingredients you would use to create a healthy wrap: veggies, mushrooms, and tortillas. The gold parts you see are created with edible gold, so this sculpture is 100% edible.

Gaku

If you prefer to peel your food before eating it, you may be on your way to follow in artist Gaku’s footsteps. He makes food sculptures by carefully carving intricate designs into produce such as apples and oranges. The roses you see above are actually made of daikon, believe it or not.

Canstruction

One of the coolest types of food sculptures out there is canstruction, which are large-scale sculptures created entirely out of canned food. These are usually made at charity events hosted by global non-profit charity Canstruction Headquarters, where people gather to build sculptures out of canned food which is then donated to local food banks. Talk about beautiful.
