As TikTok takes over social media, many other sites have added a similar “scrollable” short video feature. One of these is YouTube, and many cooking channels are using the feature to promote either easy or rapid-fire recipes. These videos aren’t more than a minute, so you can easily scroll through until you find a recipe you’d like to make. Here are some of the channels to check out.

The Korean Vegan

The Korean Vegan has super-calming short videos. The visuals are her cooking yummy vegan Korean food, while she tells quick stories of her family history in Korea and personal stories with lessons she’s learned.

Cooking Bomb

Vivian Aronson was raised in Sichuan, China before moving to America, where she now has a family of six for whom she cooks delicious Chinese food. She has lots of fun short videos about her Sichuan dishes, which you can find in more detail in her long videos and her newly-published cookbook.

Winnie Hays

This is a great channel for meal ideas because all of the videos show us what Winnie packs her family and herself for lunch. She gives lots of creative ideas for both kids and adults and presents them in cute, aesthetic ways.
