The main problem with coffee creamers is that they’ll transform your coffee into a sugar bomb. They’re bad for your health due to their high sugar content and can contain approximately five grams of sugar per teaspoon. They might look like an innocent addition to your coffee, but they have no nutritional benefits and can only do you harm.

Sugar-Free Creamers

If you want to lower your sugar intake, but don’t want to ditch coffee creamers altogether, you’ll be tempted to switch to sugar-free alternatives. Unfortunately, they’re not that healthy either and can contain highly-processed artificial sweeteners.

Better Alternatives

Drinking your coffee without the creamer may be unusual at first, but it’s not that hard—especially since there are many better alternatives on the market. You can make your coffee taste delicious by using almond and oat milk, vanilla extract, maple syrup, and cinnamon, or by simply switching to better-quality coffee.
