Check it out below.

Ingredients

  • Avocado
  • Lime or lemon juice
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper

As you can see, we skipped the onion because nobody wants to deal with all that crying. We’re also giving you flexibility when it comes to the lime juice. Don’t have a lime? It’s okay, you can use a lemon. Finally, don’t worry about adding cilantro. Some people hate it, so why bother?

Directions

Start by cutting the avocado in half and removing the pit. Take a knife and dice the avocado within its skin, then scoop it out into a bowl with a spoon. Add the lime juice and mash with a fork until it gets to your desired texture. Season with salt and pepper and, most importantly, garlic powder, which will add the flavor that you’re missing from not having fresh onion or garlic in the guac. And voila!
