Are you a fan of beer? If so, Ireland sure has a bunch of brews for you to check out. While this country might be better known for its whiskey, it certainly doesn’t come up short in the suds department either.

Whether you find yourself on vacation on the Emerald Isle or simply have a hankering to try some Irish flavors, here are some beers for you to try.

Guinness Draught

Guinness draught, a dry stout which has been made in Dublin for centuries, is the most iconic Irish beer and probably the one which you are most likely to have tried. Dry and rich, the smooth and silky carbonation of this beer makes it way too easy to enjoy.

Murphy’s Irish Red

Murphy’s Irish Red is a red lager which takes back to the mid-19th century. Its slightly bitter notes are contrasted with a sweet, caramel-like malt flavor which make this beer a perfectly-balanced brew.

Harp Lager

Are you a fan of the simpler things in beer? If so, Harp Lager is probably a great choice for you. There may not be a lot of warm, sunny days in Ireland, but this light brew sure tastes good when relaxing or doing activities outdoors in the summer.
