You Might Want to Start Reheating Your Leftover Pizza in a Skillet

There are two ways people usually reheat pizza. They either microwave it or pop it in the oven. But neither of these methods is perfect. Reheating leftover pizza in a skillet, on the other hand, just might be.

TikToker Kyle Treta recently shared a clip that details his dad’s hack for reheating pizza with a skillet. It is described as “foolproof” and promises that the pizza will “taste better the next day.”

The method calls for getting the skillet hot and brushing it with a “tiny bit of oil.” After that, you place the pizza slice on the skillet and “leave it alone.” When the bottom of the slices starts to toast, pour a teaspoon of water on the skillet and quickly cover it with a lid. Turn the heat down and let the slice steam for a minute and a half. The steam will melt the cheese and heat the top of the pizza without drying it out.

The clip quickly reached almost five million views, with other TikTok users branding this pizza reheating hack as a success. TikToker @mookm1ll even uploaded a video that recreated the hack to the letter and was impressed with the results.

So there you have it. Next time you are reheating pizza, forget about the microwave or oven. Instead, go for the skillet and have the best leftover pizza possible.
