Mint is the herb that just keeps giving; if you plant even a little of it, it’ll sprout to every corner of your garden. For most people, that means more mint that you think you can handle. But, mint goes so well in so many different dishes and application that you can really never have too much!

Mint Tea

Mint is a great all-around supporter for digestion, so it makes for a great drink for after a meal. It’s also great to have before bed because it relaxes you. To make this tea, just steep some leaves in hot water for a few minutes and you have the perfect after-dinner drink.

Chimichurri

Chimichurri is a traditional sauce from Latin America that is usually the marinade and then sauce for beef. But, you can use it for anything from vegetables to rice to other meats and fishes! All you do is add mint, any other herbs you have like parsley or coriander, puree it in a food processor with garlic, oil, and vinegar, and you have the perfect accompaniment to any bland meal.

Tabbouleh

Tabbouleh is a Middle Eastern salad made with bulgar, parsley, and tomatoes. You can really add anything you want to this dish, and mint is a great extra because it brings a little sweetness to the bitter parsley.
