Summer is fast approaching and the sun is starting to shine. It only means one thing, the BBQ should be making an appearance any day now, along with some cold beers. We are here to share our secret to taking any BBQ chicken to the next level. It is by using the very thing you hold in your hand as you grill the food.

It is common to cook a whole chicken stuffed with a beer can. So why not add beer to your BBQ? It is almost the same thing. You can add beer to any chicken you plan on grilling, whether it’s marinated or not.

Once the chicken is on the grill, cook it over medium heat. Cook the chicken for 2-5 minutes on one side before flipping it. Allow the second side to sear for a few minutes and then drizzle a generous amount of your beer over the chicken.

Adding the beer this way creates a sweet, tangy taste due to the combination of beer and grill smoke that will sizzle through the chicken when the beer touches the hot coals beneath the food.
