We like to think that a watermelon smoothie is a worthy challenger as it packs the same if not even more refreshment. Even better, it can be customized in various ways and pack even more flavor. Simple and Quick

Take a quarter of a watermelon and cop it into cubes. Add the watermelon cubes, generous portion of ice cubes, a tablespoon of sugar, and two teaspoons of lemon juice into a blender. Blend until the ice is crushed and incorporated with other ingredients. Pour into a glass, garnish with some mint, and enjoy.

Watermelon and Banana Smoothie

Banana complements watermelon smoothie great, as it makes the drink creamier and sweeter. You can follow the previous recipe and add one fresh banana to the blender mixture.

Another great way to make a watermelon and banana smoothie is to put the watermelon cubes and banana into a freezer. After frozen, pop the watermelon cubes and bananas into a blender. Add some water if you don’t like thick consistency.
