A lot of people apparently, but we are here to teach you how not to be afraid of one of the healthiest vegetables on the planet. Although it might look intimidating at first, if you follow our easy tips and tricks, kale can become your best friend once you get the hang of it.

When cooking with kale, the first thing you need to do is wash it really good and remove the stems because they don’t have any significant nutritional value or pleasant taste.

If you want to eat kale raw, it’s better if you mix it with some other mild greens like romaine lettuce.

If you decide to cook it, though, the options are endless. You can boil it, steam it, roast it, make an omelet with it, the list goes on. The key is that you want your kale well-seasoned with olive oil, some sea salt and a bit of pepper. Once you’ve done that, you can get as creative as you want with this versatile veggie.

Pro tip? Chop up some kale, season it and bake it in the oven for 5 minutes. Believe it or not, you will instantly become one of those people who love kale chips and are not afraid to say it!
