We’re Crazy for These Candied Nuts

The ultimate snacks are a combination of sweet, salty, and crunchy—at least that’s our opinion! If you’re looking for something that ticks all the boxes (and is also super simple to make), these candied nuts and definitely it. The delicious little nuggets can be enjoyed on a cheeseboard, in a salad, or just on their own. Be warned—it’s incredibly easy to eat them all in one go!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 pound of almonds or nuts of your choice

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F. 
  2. Mix sugar, cinnamon, and salt together in a bowl.
  3. Whisk the egg white and vanilla together in a separate bowl until frothy. Toss the nuts in the egg white mixture. Pour in the sugar mixture and combine until the nuts are evenly coated. Spread the coated nuts onto a baking sheet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven, stirring every 15 minutes until the nuts are evenly browned (around 1 hour).
