Watermelon Salsa is the Ultimate Summer Dip!

Watermelon is one of the freshest and biggest flavors of the summer. There are so many wonderful ways to enjoy watermelon during the summer, but using it in salsa is one of the best since it’s quick and a no-cook dish. Dip chips into this healthful salsa, or pour it over your favorite tacos. Anyway, you like to enjoy regular salsa can be replaced by this gorgeous watermelon version, so gather up your ingredients and get to chopping!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 of a medium-sized watermelon
  • 1 tomato
  • 1/2 a cucumber
  • 1/2 a medium red onion
  • 2/3 cup of cilantro
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 1 lime

Recipe

  1. Start by chopping up the cilantro and putting it to the side.
  2. Dice the red onion into a small dice along with the jalapeno. You can seed it beforehand if you do not want it to be too spicy.
  3. Chop up the cucumber and tomato into similar size pieces.
  4. Take the watermelon the cut it up into small pieces as well.
  5. Put all the ingredients into a bowl or container. Then, zest a lime into the bowl and juice it as well.
  6. Toss everything together, and you are ready to eat right away! Or, save it in the fridge for 2 days.
