Ingredients:
- 1 cup of oat flour
- ¾ cup applesauce (sweetened or unsweetened)
- 1 small ripe banana, mashed
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ cup maple syrup or honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- A splash of non-dairy milk (oat milk and coconut milk work well)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line the baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine oat flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
- In another bowl, mix applesauce, mashed bananas, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry mixture, stirring until combined. Add non-dairy milk
for a smooth consistency (as needed). - Pour the batter into the baking pan evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out dry.
