Two Instant Pot Breakfast Recipes For A Productive Day

If you’re also someone who thinks of sleeping as a time machine to breakfast, you probably don’t want to spend a whole lot of time cooking in the AM. We’ve scoured Instagram for two of the best breakfast recipes that take less than 20 minutes, thanks to your newest favorite kitchen device: the Instant Pot.

Paleo, Grain-Free Instant Pot Oats

Instead of spending 40 minutes stirring away on the stovetop (or alternatively, chewing on flavorless, quick-cooking microwave oats), you can dump a few cups of steel-cut oats, along with a liquid of choice, into your Instant Pot. All it takes is four minutes on high, along with ten minutes in the pressure release, for a wholesome and delicious breakfast. The fun thing about oatmeal is you can adjust the ingredients to match your cravings. Feeling tropical? Add pineapple. Indulgent? Try sprinkling it with cacao nibs or a drizzle of caramel.

Starbucks Sous Vide Egg Bites At Home

In the time it takes for us to explain how exactly a sous vide machine works, you could have pulled out your Instant Pot, whipped up the ingredients, and made ’em yourself. It’s certainly an attractive alternative to spending $5-6 for one sous vide egg bite at your local Starbucks. Again, yet another recipe that is completely customizable according to your taste preferences – all you need is an Instant Pot and a mason jar silicon mold. Once you have those, blend your eggs and any cheese, liquid, or spice of your choosing. Steam in the Instant Pot for about eight minutes and natural pressure release for 10. Let cool and enjoy with a dash of hot sauce!
