Turkey Chops are a Cut of Meat You Should Really Try

When it comes to turkey, a lot of people wait until Thanksgiving to get their fix, but after that, they ignore it completely. Turkey is a great meat to eat though since it’s very lean and tastes amazing! If you want to move away from red meat but still want a chop style dinner, this turkey chop recipe is for you. You’ll be blown away by the flavor and the ingredients are all so simple!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds of turkey chops cut in 1/3 inch cuts
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 6 sprigs of rosemary
  • 1 lemon
  • 1/8 cup of olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Recipe

  1. Start by chopping up the fresh rosemary and add it to a medium-sized bowl.
  2. Mince the garlic cloves and add that to the bowl.
  3. Juice the entire lemon into the bowl and add in the olive oil.
  4. Mix everything together and then put in the chops.
  5. Cover the chops with the marinade and let that sit at room temperature for 15-30 minutes.
  6. Right before you cook the chops, season them with salt and pepper to your taste, and then throw them on a medium-high heat grill or grill pan for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  7. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes and then enjoy!
