A great thing about brunch is that it blurs the line between breakfast and lunch foods. For example, avocado is often considered a breakfast food, while tuna is more commonly eaten for lunch. But for brunch, you can have both in the same dish.

If you are looking for tasty and healthy brunch ideas, we recommend giving our tuna-stuffed avocado a try. It’s really easy to make, and it will easily become one of your favorites. Here is how to make it.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of tuna
  • 1 large avocado
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 scallion stalks
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 1 tablespoon minced dill
  • salt, pepper

Instructions:

1. Slice the avocado in half lengthwise. Take out the pit.

2. Using a spoon, scoop the avocado meat while making sure not to ruin the skin. You’ll need it later.

3. Slice the avocado meat into small cubes and combine in a bowl with tuna.

4. Chop the scallions and celery. Add to the avocado and tuna bowl alongside olive oil, lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper.

5. Mix thoroughly until all the ingredients are combined. At this point, taste to see if more salt and pepper are needed.

6. Scoop out the tuna and avocado mix and fill the avocado skins.

7. Dig in!
