A tasty snack is always welcomed while watching a game or enjoying a movie with your significant other. But instead of having a bag of classic chips that come with plenty of empty calories, here’s an easy recipe for a healthy snack you can enjoy anywhere – it’s a spicy tuna roll that takes only 10 minutes to prepare!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 lb raw, sushi-grade Ahi Tuna
- 1 small cucumber, sliced (around 12-14 circles)
- 1/4 cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt
- 1 – 1 1/2 tsps Sriracha sauce
- 1 tbsp green onion, diced
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 1 sliced nori sheet for garnish, (seaweed)
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
- Slice the cucumber in circles, around ¼ inch thick, and put them on a plate.
- Place the diced tuna and green onions in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
- Add garlic powder (optional), sriracha, Greek yogurt and salt (optional) into the bowl.
- On every piece of cucumber put 1 tbsp tuna and add sriracha and sliced nori as a garnish.
- You can add extra minced nori in the mixture if you would like to achieve a more sushi-like taste.
- Serve and enjoy!
