Try These Loaded Fries and Never Look Back

Eating potatoes that have been cut up and fried is one of life’s sweet pleasures. So, eating fries that have been covered in melted cheese and a bunch of other yummy ingredients is pure heaven. What are you waiting for?

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium potatoes/4 cups frozen French fries 
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
  • ½ red onion, diced
  • 1 jalapeño, sliced
  • 3 rashers of bacon, fried and sliced 
  • 1 cup oil

Instructions:

  1. Slice the potatoes into fries. Heat the oil in a pan on high heat and deep fry the chips in batches, being careful not to add too many at once as this can lower the temperature of the oil and result in soggy fries. Alternatively, lay the frozen fries on a baking tray and bake according to package instructions. 
  2. Once cooked, place the fries on the tray and cover with cheese. Bake at 425°F until the cheese has melted. 
  3. Add the bacon bits, jalapeño, and onion and bake for another 2 minutes.
