Finding a snack that’s both healthy and mercilessly addicting is a lot easier said than done. Usually, the tastiest snacks aren’t that healthy, and the healthiest ones aren’t particularly tasty—so finding that sweet spot in between can be elusive. However, we think this snack truly takes the cake, no pun intended. Lo and behold, the perfect snack does exist, and this is what it is.

Avocado Toast With Sliced Tomato

We’re going to bet you’ve tried avocado toast before, and perhaps you’re rolling your eyes. But we’re talking about a fully-fledged avocado toast extravaganza, one that doesn’t hold back and pulls out all of the fixins’.

We’re talking about a lightly toasted slice of white sourdough bread, with some plant-based butter spread gently over the surface. On top of that, make sure you add a few slices of fresh, juicy tomato. The tomato will ultimately be the supporting player that makes this sandwich truly special.

And now for the main attraction—the avocado. Slice a couple of fresh pieces of avocado and add it to your open-faced toast, flanked with your tomato and plant butter. Once the avocado is on there, drizzle some salt, pepper, and olive oil to really add the finishing touch to this tasty snack.
