Tropical Drink Recipe Inspired by the Islands

Cocktails are a great way to open up a party and get your guests going. This tropical drink recipe is sure to make waves at your next house party. You can even make this on the beach when you take a trip there with your friends and it’s also quite healthy.

Ingredients:

  • shaker (for mixing)
  • shot glass
  • crushed ice or ice cubes are fine too
  • rambutan juice (freshly squeezed)
  • lambanog (coconut Philippine liquor)
  • coconut juice (fresh)
  • pineapple juice
  • pineapple slices
  • mint
  • Rhum

Instructions:

  1. Measure out 2 shot glasses of lambanog (or one if you don’t want to drink much).
  2. Measure out one shot glass of rum.
  3. Pour it into the shaker.
  4. Squeeze some fresh rambutan juice into the shaker.
  5. Pour it into the shaker.
  6. Place some ice in the shaker.
  7. Put 3 shots of pineapple juice in the shaker.
  8. Put 3 shots of coconut juice in the shaker.
  9. Add the crushed ice or ice cubes.
  10. Mix well for at least a minute.
  11. Pour it into a tall glass and add a sprinkle of mint.
