While some people simply reach for a bowl of cereal in the morning, there are such unique eating patterns throughout the world that are completely different! See how people from all over the world choose to each their breakfast.
Brazil
Brazilians tend to eat for breakfast what we might consider a good lunch option. They lay out tons of deli meats and cheeses and eat them on bread, or make sandwiches out of them. If they want something sweet, they will usually swap out cheese and meat for Nutella spread on bread.
Israel
In Israel, vegetables are always the way to go for breakfast. Whether that’s tomatoes and peppers simmered in a sauce for an egg dish called shakshuka, or straight up veggies for a salad, the Israelis know how to eat healthily. What’s really common, especially at hotels, is that you will be served the same thing you had for dinner along with some extra dishes and maybe some pastries.
Japan
Fish is a huge part of the Japanese diet, and that goes for breakfast as well! Most people will tuck into fish and rice, sometimes even miso soup for breakfast. Many people will also enjoy rice with natto which is another kind of fermented soybean.
