When it comes to making scrambled eggs, there are about a million ways to cook them to perfection. However, some ways are better than others, and some are a lot simpler as well. We’re going to tell you how to make your scrambled eggs tasty and sweet with just one added ingredient (other than cheese, of course).

The Onion

Ahh, the onion. To well-seasoned chefs, an obvious addition. But if you consider yourself an amateur that wants something more out of your eggs, and yet you don’t have the time to bring out all the bells and whistles, a mere few chops of an onion will give you what you need quicker than you’d ever believe.

All you have to do is chop about an eighth of an onion and sauté it for about five minutes in a skillet, whilst adding some garlic seasoning. When the onions are caramelized, simply add the eggs as you would’ve done before. The now-caramelized onions will give your eggs a brilliant flavor and you’ll be shocked how quick and easy it was to do.

The main point to hammer home here is that sautéing a few onion pieces before adding your egg takes no more than five minutes—but it makes a world of difference to the final product.
