This Delicious Chocolate Cake Only Needs 2 Ingredients

Homemade cakes are usually way better than anything you can get in a grocery store. But let’s be honest, making them can be a real hassle. You need to put in time and effort while also having the right ingredients to make a cake that you will enjoy.

Now, if you don’t have the time to bake a proper cake or lack the right ingredients, there is still a way to satisfy your cake cravings. You can opt for a simplistic chocolate cake that needs only two ingredients, takes less than an hour to make, and is insanely delicious. Here is how to make it.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups chocolate chips
  • 4 eggs

Instructions:

1. Melt the chocolate chips. You can use a double boiler method or simply pop it in a microwave while using a microwave-safe container.

2. Crack the eggs and separate the egg yolks from the egg whites.

3. Combine the egg yolks and melted chocolate in a bowl. You should first pour in the melted chocolate and then add one egg yolk at a time while continuously stirring.

4. Whisk the egg whites in a separate bowl until you get soft peaks. Then combine it with the chocolate mixture and mix until you get a smooth cake batter.

5. Line a cake pan with parchment paper and spray with cooking oil. Pour in the cake batter and pop the pan in an oven you’ve previously preheated to 325F.

6. Bake the cake for half an hour. Slice it when it cools down and serve it with ice cream or fresh fruit.

7. Dig in.
